Markus Groth

Markus Groth is Head of Marsh Risk Consulting in Germany and Council Member of Marsh’s Business Interruption Center of Excellence. He joined Marsh in 2008 and has more than 12 years of professional risk advisory experience on all hierarchical levels of professional organisations operating around the globe. Prior to joining Marsh, he had worked as a manager for the global business and risk advisory practices of Ernst & Young, where he led restructuring as well as transformation programmes. Markus Groth started his professional career as an associate within the research & development unit of Value & Risk Engineering. Parallel to his academic studies, Markus Groth worked as a student trainee for KPMG, Franklin Templeton Investments and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a M.Sc. from the University of Leicester, a B.Sc. from the City University of Seattle and is a certified Project Management Profession (PMP).
