In addition to Bayern Kapital, the previous investors in the seed financing round have also contributed, as has the renowned investor Point Nine Capital from Berlin. “In less than a year of business activity, riskmethods has not only developed an innovative solution, but has also gained impressive references from leading companies in European industry as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. riskmethods is well on track to set an industry standard. In an extremely short period of time, the team has also managed to develop a vital partner network with well-known companies such as Atos Consulting, as well as with disseminators from associations and universities that have confidence in the technologies of riskmethods”, explains Christoph Janz, Co-founder & Managing Partner at Point Nine Capital.
The cloud-based Social Supply Risk Network application is to be gradually extended to include new functions and become a comprehensive solution set for Supply Chain Risk Management. “By means of the Social Supply Risk Network, we want to make available to our customers a simple yet comprehensive risk management solution that can be continually adapted to the demands of professional Supply Chain Risk Management”, says Zimmer. “For this reason, we will add new modules to our software this year that can be used to determine effects of possible potential threats and impacts”.
